Yes. All of our courses are accredited through Qualsafe Awards, an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation delivering regulated qualifications throughout the UK.

Do I need previous experience?
No previous experience is required. Our courses are designed for beginners as well as learners refreshing existing qualifications. Training is delivered in a supportive and easy-to-follow environment.
How long do the courses take?
Course duration depends on the qualification chosen.
• Half Day Courses – 5 Hours
• 1 Day Courses – 6 Hours
• 2 Day Courses – 12 Hours
• 3 Day Courses – 18 Hours
Flexible scheduling may also be available for group bookings.
Where does the training take place?
We offer flexible training options across Scotland, including:
• Training at your workplace or chosen venue
• Training at our Carluke venue in South Lanarkshire
On-site training is often the most convenient and cost-effective option for businesses and organisations.
How many people can attend a course?
Typical group sizes range from 6 to 12 learners to ensure everyone receives the practical support and attention they need throughout the course.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Successful learners will receive an accredited Qualsafe Awards certificate following successful completion of the course and assessments.
Certificates are typically valid for:
• 3 Years – Most workplace first aid qualifications
• 3 Years – Paediatric first aid qualifications
• 1 Year – Some specialist courses
E-certificates are issued electronically once results have been submitted. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost.
Do I need to renew my qualification?
Yes. Most first aid qualifications expire after 3 years.
We recommend attending an Annual Refresher course each year to help maintain confidence, practical skills and workplace compliance.
What will I learn in the course?
Course content varies depending on the qualification, but may include:
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• AED (Defibrillator) use
• Managing unconscious casualties
• Choking response
• Treating bleeding, burns and injuries
• Managing shock
• Emergency scene assessment
Training is practical, scenario-based and designed to build confidence in real-life situations.
Is the training practical or classroom-based?
Our courses are highly practical, with hands-on learning forming a major part of the training experience.
While some theory and multiple-choice assessments are included, the focus is on practical skills, realistic scenarios and learner confidence.
What should I wear or bring?
We recommend:
• Comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities
• A notebook and pen
All training equipment is provided.
For full-day courses, learners may wish to bring lunch or snacks unless refreshments are being provided by their organisation.
Do you travel to deliver training?
Yes. We provide training across Scotland and can travel to your workplace or venue.
Travel charges may apply at 45p per mile, depending on location.
How much do courses cost?
Course pricing depends on:

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand plans can change.
Client Cancellations
• 14+ Days Notice – Full refund or reschedule
• 7–13 Days Notice – 50% fee may apply
• Less than 7 Days Notice – Full fee may apply
Trainer Cancellations
In the unlikely event we need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date or full refund will be offered.

Yes. For on-site training, we provide a pre-course checklist covering:
