Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Confirmation
All course bookings must be made in advance and will be confirmed via email. A booking is only secured once confirmation has been issued and, where applicable, a deposit or full payment has been received.
2. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking.
· Invoices must be paid within the stated timeframe (typically 7–14 days)
· Full payment must be received prior to certification being issued
· We reserve the right to withhold certificates until payment is complete
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
By the Client:
· Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course date – full refund or reschedule offered
· Cancellations made 7–13 days before – 50% fee may be charged
· Cancellations made less than 7 days before – full fee may be charged
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated where possible but may incur an additional fee.
By the Trainer:
In the unlikely event we need to cancel or reschedule (e.g. illness or unforeseen circumstances), an alternative date will be offered or a full refund provided.
4. Learner Attendance
· Learners must attend the full course and arrive on time
· Late arrival or early departure may result in non-certification
· It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all learners are available for the full duration
5. Fitness to Participate
First aid training includes practical activities such as CPR and recovery positions.
· Learners must be physically able to participate in practical elements
· Any medical conditions, injuries, or additional needs must be disclosed in advance
· Reasonable adjustments will be made where possible
6. Assessment & Certification
· Certification is subject to successful completion of the course and assessments
· Trainers reserve the right to withhold certification if required standards are not met
· Certificates will be issued in line with the awarding organisation’s requirements
7. Venue Requirements (Client-Site Training)
For on-site training, the client must provide:
· A suitable training space with enough room for practical activities
· Seating and basic facilities
· A safe environment for learners and trainer
If the venue is deemed unsuitable on arrival, training may be postponed and fees may still apply.
A document shall be sent in advance of the training.
8. Health & Safety
All participants must:
· Follow health and safety instructions during training
· Inform the trainer of any hazards or risks at the venue
· Take reasonable care during practical activities
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
9. Liability
· We hold appropriate insurance for training delivery
· We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from failure to follow instruction
· Clients are responsible for ensuring their premises are safe and compliant
10. Use of Training Materials
All course materials provided are for learner use only and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
11. Data Protection
All personal information provided will be handled in accordance with data protection legislation and used only for:
· Course administration
· Certification purposes
· Communication relating to training
We do not share personal data with third parties outside of certification requirements.
12. Complaints Procedure
We aim to provide high-quality training at all times.

13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland/United Kingdom.
